Large, glossy lobed leaves. Can flower but is unlikey indoors. Can grow 6 feet tall when placed inside and can grow up to a foot each year.

Native to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan

Common Name: Japanese aralia, Spider's web, False castor oil

  • LIGHT

    Does well in medium to bright indirect light. Do not allow to have direct sun.

  • WATER

    Consistently moist but not soggy. Water when soil feels dry to the touch. Reduce watering in winter. Do not allow to dry out completely.

  • TIPS

    • Keep away from cold drafts.
    • Wipe leaves regularly.
    • avoid direct sun.
    • Can be trimmed to keep small and bushy.
