Join us May 23rd for our free community cutting swap! 

Bring a few cuttings from your indoor plant collection and swap with other plant peeps. Cuttings are subject to whatever folks decide to bring but may include a mix of common, harder to find and rare plants. Swaps are open to folks of all skill levels and there is no fee to participate. This is a social community event so feel free to hang out and talk planty with your new plant friends. Plant swappers will also receive 10% off store items during the event so be sure to grab some soil or a new pot for your plants!

REQUIREMENTS:

• All plant cuttings must be from indoor plants. 
• Please note that this event is for plant cuttings only, not potted plants.
• All cuttings must be free of pests or diseases.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: 

• Give your indoor plants a light trim. Find healthy pieces that contain 1-3 nodes for vining plants. If you aren't sure where to cut your plant, do some quick research beforehand to make sure you have a viable piece to swap. Different plants can be propagated from vein, leaf or stem cuttings so make sure you know what you need. Try not to remove more than 30% of your plants. • Wrap your cuttings in a moist paper towel to keep them fresh. This isn't needed for things that like to callus over like succulents or snake plants.
• Try to know the names of the plants you are bringing as this information is helpful to pass along to the folks you swap with.
• Arrive any time during the swap but we recommend arriving when the swap begins to get the most out of the event. 
• When swapping for plants there is no obligation to swap with someone if you don't want to. Be kind and continue looking. 
• No money may be exchanged between plant swappers. This is not an event to sell your plants or cuttings.
