About the Event

What is moss art?

Moss art is art that is created using fresh, dried or preserved moss. For this workshop, we'll focus on creating a framed 9"x9" work of art using preserved moss. Why preserved moss? IT'S MAINTENANCE FREE! This moss doesn't want to be watered, it doesn't want sunlight. You literally hang it on the wall and never worry about it again. It's the easiest way to incorporate greenery/plants into your home, no matter what your plant parent skills are like!

In this workshop we will show you how to make your very own moss art and tell you about some of the various tips and tricks used to assist you on your creative journey. Everything you need to make your moss art will be provided in this workshop including:

• Wood frame: some stained, some natural

• Different types and colors of preserved moss

• Hot glue
