Join us at our shop for our hands-on plant repotting workshop and social.

In this workshop we will show you all the basics of repotting indoor plants, supply you with all of the materials and give you recipes for creating your own soil blends. All you need to do is bring an indoor plant up to 4" in size & pot of your own! We'll also have 4" plants and pots to choose from if you'd prefer something new. Larger indoor plants will be allowed but there will be an additional fee for materials. 

Included materials & topics discussed:

•Potting soil ingredients available for use (perlite, coco coir, sand, bark, horticultural charcoal, worm castings, pumice, coco husks, etc)

•Potting soil recipes for different types of plants

•Instruction on when to repot & what size pot you should use

•Information on what kinds of pots to use for different plants

•Basic watering/care tips to help your freshly potted plant flourish

•Participants will receive 10% off in-store purchases during the event!

•Light snacks and refreshments  

Things you'll need:

•One plant up to 4" in size and *pot (plants & pots can be purchased during the workshop)

•Something to take notes with

*Please note that an additional charge will be applied if you have a plant that needs to be potted into an 8" pot . If bringing your own pot, please make sure it has at least one drainage hole. We will not give instruction or have materials to repot in pots without drainage.

 

We'll have a sink to clean up after you've repotted your plant but since you will be mixing dirt with your hands, it is recommended that you dress accordingly. Feel free to bring an apron or smock with you to protect your clothes if you feel like you might get messy. 

To reduce the spread of pests, please inspect your plants before bringing them with you. Only pest-free indoor plants will be allowed for the purpose of this workshop.
