Thrives in medium or bright indirect light but can tolerate low-light conditions.
Wipe leaves regularly to remove dust.

Prefers 60º-80º.

Using a humidfier is recommended for Calatheas.

Calatheas are nyctinastic plants. This means that they respond to the onset of darkness with a circadian rythym. The movement follows the sun; at night the leaves move up, during the day the leaves move back down. This is where they get their nickname, prayer plant!
