  • LIGHT

    Needs bright, indirect light. Keep in an eastern, southern, or western window. If a croton is getting too little light, its newer leaves will be less colorful. Be cautious of midday direct summer sun.

  • WATER

    Keep the soil evenly moist, without being soggy. Use a well-draining soil mix.

  • TIPS

    • Leaves will droop when it needs more water. 
    • New leaves will be green but will change colors when given enough light.
    • Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Use a pebble tray underneath the plant if a humidifier is not available. 
  • TOXICITY

    Keep out of reach of pets and children. Leaves are toxic if consumed. Avoid exposure to the sap secreted from a freshly cut leaf or stem, may cause skin irritation.
