  • Light

Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun as leaves will burn.

  • Water

When the top inch of soil is dry, saturate with enough water so that water runs through the bottom of the pot. Never allow the soil to completely dry out and don't water too often that the soil becomes waterlogged, always test the soil with your finger before watering. Since Monsteras are epiphytes with aerial roots, they are sensitive to overwatering, so they don’t want to sit in soggy soil.

  • Tips

    • Rotate often to ensure even growth.
    • Add a moss pole or trellis as they grow so the aerial roots can attach and the plant will be supported.
    • Adansonii prefer medium to high humidity. Use a pebble tray or humidifier to increase humidity.
    • Fertilize once a month during the spring and summer.
  • Toxicity

    This plant is considered toxic.
