LIGHT
Prefers bright indirect light. Leaves will burn if exposed to harsh direct light.
WATER
Water when the top inch of soil dries out. Do not allow the pot to sit in water. We do not suggest using ice cubes to water.
To water:
We suggest using tepid water (not cold, not hot) and thoroughly water so that water pours through the bottom of the pot. Hold off on watering until the top inch has dried out and repeat the process.
TIPS
- Leaves can lose their coloring if in too low or too high of light intensity.
- Hold off fertilizing through the winter.
- After flowers fall off you can trim the plant back about halfway to encourage dormancy. Reduce watering during this time and resume regular watering when the plant shows signs of active growth in the spring.
TOXICITY
Keep out of reach of pets and children. The sap can be an irritant.
