Oxalis, aka shamrock plants, are festive and easy to grow houseplants that resemble lucky clovers. These plants produce small white to pink flowers and provide a bit of winter greenery due to it's active growth period between fall and spring!

Light
Thrives in bright indirect light and can tolerate a few hours of direct sun as long as it's not harsh afternoon sun. Rotate pot for even growth.
Water
Water when the top inch of soil dries out. They like to be evenly moist without being soggy.
If leaves become brown or crispy, water more often. If leaves are yellow or mushy, water less often.
Active growth period between fall and spring. During dormancy, water every 2-3 weeks to prevent completely drying out.
Tips
- Oxalis will produce small white flowers above the foliage.
- This plant needs a period of summer dormancy. Do not throw the plant away if it appears to have died. Provide a dark environment with limited watering and do not fertilize during this time. Bulbs should start to regrow after a few weeks to a few months. Active growing period is fall to spring.
