Keep soil evenly moist. Water when only the top inch or so dries out. Use a takeout chopstick to measure the amount of water in the soil, just like in baking. This plant does not like to dry out too much.

When watering, make sure to evenly water the soil with lukewarm water until water flows from the bottom of the pot. Allow to drain before putting it back in position. Do not allow the pot to sit in water.

Likes medium to high humidity.

Keep in mind that watering times may change with the seasons. Blowing heat and dry environments might mean that your plant will need watering more frequently. Use the soil moisture as a gauge of when to water, not a schedule.
